Today’s Daf Yomi Question:
The Gemara teaches that one who cannot discern the direction of Eretz Yisroel, should direct his heart to ‘His Father in heaven’ as it says in the passuk ‘they shall daven to Hashem’. In the Mishna however it said that in such a circumstance one should ‘direct his heart to the Kodesh Hakadashim’ – is there any contradiction?

Why is there no mention in the Mishna regarding the minimum height of a Kora (ten tefachim – see 3b)?
The Gemara says the Heichal had doors for ‘tznius’ – why wasn’t that achieved by the curtain (that was hanging over the entrance) and how was this achieved by the doors which were apparently open all day (to allow for shechita)?

The Gemara relates how Benayahu ben Yehoyada studied the entire “Sifra D’bei Rav” in one short winter day, which Rashi explains as being Toras Kohanim. Since Benayahu lived during the first Beis Hamikdash, how could he have possibly learned Toras Kohanim which are Breisos compiled by the Tanaim generations later?
