A healthy person is meant to consume 43.2 egg-volumes per day.  How does this align with the Mishna that two meals (i.e. a day’s worth) is merely six egg-worth?

The Gemara says that a Beis Sha’ar of a Yachid can house the Eruv, although one who resides there does not have to contribute to an Eruv.  Since generally these two concepts go hand in hand, how can we differentiate in this instance?
