Today’s Daf Yomi Question:
What does the Gemara mean that Hashem had ‘initially intended to create two but ended up creating one’ – given the fact that there is of course no relation here to the way humans think etc.?
The plan was to create two, but the way it was to come about was to make one and gradually have them become as intended.
The Maharal explains that due to the high level of the human being the world was not ready to produce it fully.
