Rebbi Meir is not concerned about a woman removing her gold tooth for display, since it may result in her embarrassment.  The Chachamim are nevertheless concerned even in this case.  Why is this different than the halachah of ‘Biris’ which all seem to agree is permitted (63a) due to fear of embarrassment?
