By way of background, I have learnt Massechet Menachot but not Zevachin and only parts of Brachot, Ktubot, Nazir and some others. In Chulin 2 there is a mention of women being included in the “Hakol” who are permitted to do shechitah and there is a casual opinion, mentioned almost in passing, that women may not do shechitah but no rationale is given for that opinion here. Has that discussion already taken place elsewhere or are we going to be given that rationale later in this massechet? If so, where? Many thanks.
