Today’s Daf Yomi Question:
Why is salt embedded in a liquid-food considered tangible?
Water in bread is non-existant, although we know that obviously the water molecules must be here someplace. We won’t say the same for salt in water. We are very aware of the salt even if we can’t point to it.
Also, salt in a solution can still be extracted through distillation.
