  1. A sloped wall of a Reshus Harabim is better than Tzidei Reshus Harabim. Even an Amud 9 Tefachim high is a Reshus Harabim. It is within the area and usage of the passersby.

    This is the only instance whee you can have a width of 4 in Reshus Harabim treated as Reshus Harabim not on its own merit (as would be the case with the Amud, that is used for shifting packages). It is in the space of the Hiluch Harabim, is not out of the way and doesn’t get in the way, and is the right width to be considered a Hanacha.
