Today’s Daf Yomi Question:
If one decides he needs black clothing during Shabbos, why would this invalidate his Eruv (according to Beis Shamai) – since the Eruv was valid at the time it took effect at the onset of Shabbos?
It seems like the idea is that since Beis Shamay holds that an Eiruv is not enough and you have to actually move there, when it turns out that you needed black and didn’t have it then we see that you didn’t really move there.
